Four seasons in one day...

Well, the Irish summer is testing us once again, when it's not lashing, it's drizzling and when it's doing neither it's just a bit damp. Suddenly, it throws us a curve ball, sends us a day of glorious sunshine and before we can root out our summer clothes, it promptly clouds over and we have to put away the sunglasses and look for our brollies again.

The addition of a well designed conservatory or sunroom to a home adds so much, adding light, a sense of space, a sense of bringing the outdoors inside, and a sense of tranquility. Choosing the right conservatory roof blinds will mean you can enjoy your conservatory no matter what the Irish weather throws at you.

Pleated Roof Blinds.
Shading your conservatory's roof is particularly beneficial if it is south facing or south west facing. Selecting a versatile shading system like pleated roof blinds will allow you to get the most use and enjoyment from this unique space.

Get rid of glare.
We see little enough of the sun in this country so when it does make an appearance it shouldn't be an annoyance to you as you sit in your conservatory or sunroom. Fitting pleated roof blinds will mean that when the sun is out you can simply close over the blinds. The blinds are made with reflective coated fabrics, so the annoying glare is eliminated without loosing too much light and you can get back to enjoying your conservatory.

Get rid of grey skies.
Unfortunately pleated roof blinds can't do anything about the weather but on dull days the blinds can be drawn over sending away the grey skies and creating a cosy ambiance in your conservatory.

Control heat.
The specialist fabrics used in conservatory roof blinds eliminates glare and effectively reduces heat build up on warm sunny days. On cold days and at night pleated roof blinds help combat heat loss.
